MANILA, Philippines (Sep 2026) : Overseas Pinoy workers and SSS members facing sudden budget gaps no longer need to jump through hoops just to secure emergency funds.
With the new SSS LoanLite feature inside the UnionDigital Bank app, eligible members can apply for quick, paperless micro-loans ranging from PHP 1,000 (approx. $18) to PHP 20,000 (approx. $355) from anywhere in the world.
How SSS LoanLite works for Pinoys abroad
The entire application process happens digitally inside the app. Once approved, the funds go directly into the applicant’s UD Save account, removing the need for physical paperwork or lining up at bank branches. This makes it easier for OFWs to handle unexpected expenses back home or manage immediate cash flow needs without delay.
