Upclose with the Ms. Earth PH 2017 Beauties at Yoshinoya Glorietta

Having been here in the Philippines since 2001, it is always a delight visiting and trying out yummy Japanese food at a Yoshinoya restaurant.

Just very recently, with the kind invite of blogger colleague Ms. Cha Sy, we were able to cover the exciting store visit of a small batch of Ms. Earth Philippines beauties who were doing their busy promotional rounds to help promote the continuous genuine care of Mother Earth and the beauty pageant itself.

But before the lovely ladies arrived, we personally tried out a few of Yoshinoya’s best in my humble opinion. Here’s a flat lay of the meals and drinks I enjoyed and savoured.

I would always order my favorite California Maki (P59) in all my Yoshinoya visits. I also tried out for the first time their Kani Salad (P69) which was a mix of  lettuce, Japanese dressing, cucumber, carrots, mango, seaweeds, fish roe (tobiko). Perfect salad for people on a diet. ♀

Since I haven't eaten lunch then, the (good for sharing) Chicken and Beef jumbo platter (P219) super satisfied my hungry tummy! There is a side dish of mixed veggies which served as topping on the rice.  Burp!!!

I would certainly recommend this meal for all you chicken and beef lovers combined!

For dessert, the Tiramisu (P35) was a sweet delight. The red and green teas are always refreshing and thirst quenching!

Finally the ladies arrived and slowly wowed all the diners and customers of Yoshinoya Glorietta branch. The event host called out the candidate's names and cities they represent. The ladies sashayed on the small ramp prepared holding cute Japanese umbrellas and smiled and posed for the media. They also displayed their share of reducing and recycling materials in order to further save our troubled Mother Earth.

The candidates performed a suave song and dance number which I learned from fellow blogger Denise was entitled, "I Am A Woman of the Earth",  and posed for a lot of selfies and photos with the customers and media guests including the managers and staff of said branch.

A mock vote of the Media Top 3 Ms. Earth PH was also held and after the count, the victorious winners were Ms. Ozamiz, Ms. Villanueva, Misamis Oriental, and Ms. Makati! They were gifted with Yoshinoya gift certificates.
Wow, super congrats ladies!

With a cool groupie of these lovelies, Ms. Earth Philippines from Masbate City, Mandaluyong City, Ozamiz City, Makati City, New Zealand, Camiling, Tarlac, Lobo, Batangas, El Salvador City, and Villanueva, Misamis Oriental.

There are about 40 lovely candidates vying and competing this year for the coveted crown.

Good luck on Coronation Night! You are all winners to me!!! ☺

A Yoshinoya restaurant visit won't be complete without a groupie souvenir photo with my fellow blogger friends Denise and her hubby Vic, Leomy and new friend Via. Thank you all for staying until the end of the program!

Many thanks to Sir Nodz and his associates for attending to our needs and huge thanks also for the bonus Beef Ramen ({149) and Big Chicken (P145) they provided while waiting for the candidates who had an extended photo session prior to the resto visit.

Speaking of coronation, please do watch the Ms. Earth Philippines Finals Night on July 15 at the Mall of Asia Arena. Do support our local beauties for this is a good stepping stone for them to reach their big dreams!

Until my next store visit dear YOSHINOYA ♥♥♥
