Why classes are shifting online
The culprit is the enhanced southwest monsoon. Typhoon Obet, the local name for Saudel, sliced through the Philippine Area of Responsibility and is pumping extra moisture into the habagat, which PAGASA says brings scattered rains and thunderstorms over Metro Manila, Central Luzon, and Northern Luzon in the next few days, per PAGASA’s Monday advisory.
