MANILA, Philippines (June 2026) — Getting caught in an unexpected downpour no longer has to mean worrying about soaked gadgets. Xiaomi is highlighting a lineup of water-resistant devices designed to keep Pinoys connected even when the weather refuses to cooperate.

The company’s latest ecosystem includes the Xiaomi 17T Series smartphones, Xiaomi Watch S5, and Xiaomi Buds 6, all built with durability and weather resistance in mind while working together through Xiaomi HyperOS 3.

Built to handle rainy-day surprises

The Xiaomi 17T Series comes with an IP68 dust and water resistance rating, allowing the smartphones to withstand accidental spills, heavy rain, and even temporary immersion in up to 1.5 meters of fresh water for as long as 30 minutes.

For users who stay active outdoors, the Xiaomi Watch S5 (46mm) is rated at 5ATM water resistance, making it suitable for swimming, workouts, and running even in wet conditions. It is also designed to withstand sweat and splashes during daily activities.

Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Buds 6 are built for commuters and fitness enthusiasts who want uninterrupted audio despite humid or rainy weather. Each earbud weighs just 4.4 grams and is designed for a secure, comfortable fit during extended use.

One ecosystem, less hassle

All three devices run on Xiaomi HyperOS 3, allowing them to work together without requiring users to constantly switch between devices.

Users can control music playing through the Xiaomi Buds 6, receive notifications from the Xiaomi 17T Series, and monitor workouts on the Xiaomi Watch S5 with synchronized connectivity across the ecosystem.

The setup is intended for people who rely on multiple devices throughout the day, whether they are commuting to work, exercising outdoors, or simply navigating unpredictable weather.

Now available in the Philippines

The Xiaomi 17T Series, Xiaomi Watch S5, and Xiaomi Buds 6 are now available through Xiaomi’s official stores in the Philippines, authorized Xiaomi retail outlets nationwide, and the brand’s official stores on Shopee and Lazada.

Note: Xiaomi did not disclose Philippine pricing in the provided announcement.
