PUTRAJAYA, Malaysia — Filipino pride soared once again as Fnatic Onic Philippines (FNOP) claimed victory at the M6 World Championship, defeating Team Liquid Indonesia (TLID) 4:1 in a best-of-seven Grand Finals on December 14, 2024. This marked the Philippines’ fifth consecutive M Series win, extending a streak that began at M2 in 2021.

With this triumph, FNOP secured an unbeaten M6 campaign and walked away with the largest share of the USD 1 million prize pool. The team roster featured Duane “Kelra” Pillas, who also bagged the Grand Finals MVP title, alongside Jann Kirk “Kirk” Solcruz Gutierrez, King Cyric “K1NGKONG” Perez, Frince Miguel “Super Frince” Ramirez, Borris James “Brusko” Parro, and Brian Milez “SpiderMilez” Santos. Anthony Dennis “Ynot” Senedrin and Jeniel “YellyHaze” Bata-Anon led the team as Head Coach and Assistant Coach, respectively.

The Grand Finals at the Axiata Arena drew over 7,000 live spectators, while online viewership peaked at 4.129 million, making it the third most-watched M Series event. Analytics partner Esports Charts reported a significant 66% increase in average viewers compared to M5, driven by platforms like TikTok and expanded co-streaming programs.

Beyond the competition, MOONTON Games announced major updates for MLBB, including a refreshed logo symbolizing players’ burning passion and the game’s massive milestone of 1.5 billion registrations. The company also confirmed the M7 World Championship will return to Jakarta in January 2026, following its last hosting in 2022.

This championship cements the Philippines’ dominance in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports, a testament to the skill, teamwork, and determination of Pinoy gamers.
