QUEZON CITY, Philippines (April 16, 2025) – Filipino photographers have a fresh chance to showcase their talent on the global stage as entries open for the 16th Epson International Pano Awards.
Epson announced the call for submissions for the prestigious panoramic photography competition. Epson Southeast Asia partners again with Epson Australia as main sponsors for the 2025 event. The competition highlights the art of panoramic photography. In 2024, it attracted 4,529 images from 1,105 photographers in 95 countries. A past entry featured “Blissful Moment” by Brix Tan from the Philippines.
David Evans, the competition’s curator, invited professional and amateur photographers worldwide to participate. He noted that sponsor support allowed for reduced entry fees in 2025, making the awards more accessible. The total prize pool exceeds US$50,000. This includes $15,000 in cash prizes. The overall Open category winner will receive a package valued at over $11,000.
“We are proud to support the 16th edition,” said Jocelyn Tan, Regional Deputy Director for Commercial Products at Epson Southeast Asia. She emphasized the awards’ role in spotlighting talent from Southeast Asia and beyond. Tan added that Epson remains committed to providing print technology that helps photographers realize their vision.
The 2025 judging panel features respected photographers and industry figures. These include past winners like Merche Llobera, Kelvin Yuen, and Matt Jackisch.
Early bird entries are accepted until Monday, June 30, 2025. The final deadline for submissions is Monday, July 21, 2025.
