PAMPANGA, Philippines (Aug 2026) — Pulling a one-ton aircraft is usually reserved for heavy machinery, but the HONOR Magic V6 foldable smartphone just took on the challenge to prove its extreme durability. The upcoming device underwent a controlled towing test to see how its structural engineering holds up under intense physical force.

A gym session and a quick swim

The runway stunt was not the only test for the new device. It was also attached to a weight machine for a lat pulldown challenge, transforming a standard strength-training workout into an unconventional test of hardware endurance.

To see how it handles wet environments, the device was also submerged in a swimming pool. The underwater test gave tech enthusiasts a look at how well the foldable is protected against water damage.

Flagship features in a slim design

Pinoys looking for a premium daily driver will find that the device offers more than just a tough exterior. The device combines a large folding display, high-resolution cameras, advanced artificial intelligence capabilities, and a high-capacity battery inside a thin form factor.

Official pricing and release dates for the HONOR Magic V6 in the Philippines have not yet been announced. Stay tuned for the official launch updates.
