P1,499 for unlimited 5G home internet: Smart Home WiFi drops new postpaid options

MANILA, Philippines (Oct 2025) – Smart Home WiFi is expanding its lineup of home internet services with new 5G postpaid plans, making it easier for families, renters, and small businesses to secure fast, reliable wireless connectivity.

The new offerings are designed as a plug-and-play alternative to traditional wired setups, leveraging Smart’s fiber-fast 5G network to deliver speeds up to 600 Mbps.

Customers now have two main postpaid options to choose from, with the plans capable of connecting up to 40 devices simultaneously.

The entry-level Plan 999 is aimed at budget-conscious households that still require substantial data. This plan includes a monthly allocation of 200 GB of 5G data with a data rollover feature. Subscribers also receive an extra 2 GB of bonus data daily if they consume their main allocation before the billing cycle concludes. The required one-time device cashout is P995. For additional data needs, 30-day BOOSTER+ options are available, ranging from P99 for 1 GB to P399 for 12 GB.

For users who require constant, high-speed access for heavy household or business use, Smart offers Plan 1499. This plan comes with unlimited 5G connectivity and includes a free 5G modem.

Both postpaid plans are covered by a 24-month contract and include a “30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee.” This warranty allows customers who are unsatisfied with their 5G signal to return the device to any Smart Store within the guarantee period without incurring pre-termination fees. Plan 999 subscribers will also receive a full refund of their device cashout.

Subscribers can also take advantage of Postpaid Perks by earning GigaPoints through the Smart App. Customers who pay their bill in full and on time each month can earn 5% cashback in GigaPoints, which are redeemable for various rewards and promos.

Marjorie Garrovillo, First Vice President at Smart Communications, stated that the new plans fulfill the company’s dedication to “bridging the digital divide and serving every Filipino.” She added that the move is intended to bring “powerful, reliable connectivity to underserved homes” supported by their 5G network.

Trusted by over 450,000 subscribers nationwide, Smart Home WiFi currently leads the fixed wireless access segment as of Q2 2025, according to a press release obtained by our editors.
