What the awards actually measured
The Fastest Fixed Network award went to Converge after it recorded a Speed Score of 61.12, the highest among all fixed internet providers in the Philippines. Speed Score is Ookla’s composite metric combining download and upload performance.
The Best Fixed Network award followed, backed by a Connectivity Score of 75.09. This metric factors in reliability, speed consistency, responsiveness, and overall network stability — a more complete picture of day-to-day performance than raw speed alone.
For streaming, Converge earned Best Fixed Video Experience with a Video Score of 83.73, reflecting its ability to deliver smooth playback even during peak hours when network congestion typically hits hardest.
Rounding out the sweep is the Lowest Latency award, where Converge recorded a Latency Score of 13.94. Low latency matters most for real-time applications like online gaming, video calls, and cloud-based tools, where even small delays are noticeable.
