Free Fire turns the battlefield into a giant music festival with DJ Alok and the new Beat Carnival

SINGAPORE (Mar 2026) — The world’s most downloaded mobile battle royale is about to get a lot louder. Garena has officially kicked off the “Beat Carnival” in Free Fire, reuniting with global music superstar DJ Alok for a high-energy crossover that turns the game’s maps into a literal music festival.

From March 24 to April 7, Pinoy survivors can dive into a neon-soaked celebration inspired by the vibrant energy of Brazilian Carnival. The event isn’t just about aesthetics; it comes with a brand-new exclusive track titled “BULLETPROOF,” a collaboration between Alok and CERES that serves as the official anthem for the campaign.

Dance your way to a Booyah

This isn’t your typical firefight. The Beat Carnival introduces “Dance Grenades” that, when thrown, force anyone caught in the blast to stop shooting and start dancing. There’s also a “Speaker Trampoline” that uses sound waves to launch players across the battlefield, adding a rhythmic twist to tactical movement.

On the Solara map, players will find the Bloomtown Stage—a dedicated zone with laser effects and immersive music where event-exclusive rewards can be unlocked. If you look toward the horizon, a giant projection of DJ Alok can be seen “vibing” at the edge of the map, while the sky shifts into a glowing sunset as the match progresses.

Free swag and “Beat” bundles

No festival is complete without the outfits. Garena is giving away a variety of free in-game rewards, including a Female Bundle, Skyboard, Scythe, and a Pickup Truck skin. For those looking to fully gear up, the “Beat Beast” (male) and “Beat Leopard” (female) bundles have hit the in-game store, alongside special arrival animations and emotes.

For players who use the Alok character, the event also introduces an upgraded Skill Card with enhanced powers, providing new strategic options for both Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes.

From Brazil to the Philippines

While the creative concept originated from Free Fire’s massive Brazilian community, the Beat Carnival is a global celebration. It marks a milestone for Garena in using player feedback to shape major campaigns, bridging the gap between music culture and gaming.

Free Fire is available for download on the App Store and Google Play. Whether you’re a competitive pro or just here for the vibes, it’s time to drop the beat and claim those rewards before the festival ends on April 7.
