LG made an air purifier specifically for homes with pets — and it cuts energy use by half

MANILA, Philippines (Mar 2026) — Pet owners know the drill. No matter how often you clean, there is always dander floating around, a lingering smell, and fine hair that gets everywhere. LG’s newest air purifier is built around exactly that problem.

The LG AeroBooster Pet is a 52.8 square meter air purifier with a 360-degree purification system, meaning it draws in and treats air from all directions rather than just from one side. It is part of LG’s broader AirCare lineup alongside the AeroHit and 360 Hit models.

For pet households specifically, the unit targets three common complaints: airborne pet dander, everyday pet odors, and fine pet hair particles. The HEPA-grade Aero V Filter handles the filtration, while UV Nano technology adds an extra layer of treatment within the purification cycle.

Air circulation is handled by a Dual Air Flow and Clean Booster system, which keeps air moving through the space consistently rather than leaving dead zones in corners or behind furniture.

The AI+ Mode is the efficiency play. It monitors conditions and adjusts the unit’s operation automatically, which LG says reduces energy consumption by over 49% compared to running at a fixed setting. For a device that runs most of the day, that adds up.

“With the AeroBooster Pet, LG brings together 360° Purification, Dual Air Flow, and energy-saving AI+ Mode auto adjustment in one solution designed for everyday living,” said Changsoo Jang, Air Solutions Product Director at LG Electronics Philippines.

Pricing and availability details for the Philippines have not yet been announced. For updates, visit lgnewsroom.com or follow LG Electronics Philippines on its official channels.
