Samsung has been the world’s best-selling soundbar brand for 12 years straight


MANILA, Philippines (Apr 2026) — Samsung has held the top spot in global soundbar sales every single year since 2014, and 2025 was no different.

According to research firm Future Source, Samsung captured 21.5% of global soundbar revenue and 19.7% of unit volume last year, marking 12 consecutive years at the top of the category. Combined with 20 years of global TV market leadership, the streak cements Samsung’s position as the dominant force in home entertainment.

The brand attributes the run to its audio technology, sound immersion capabilities, and tight integration between its soundbars and Samsung TVs.

“Being named the top soundbar brand in the world for the 12th consecutive year is not just a tremendous honor, but a testament to our commitment to premium home entertainment,” said Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics.

Samsung is expanding its audio lineup in 2026 with several new products. The HW-Q990H flagship soundbar succeeds the HW-Q990F, while the HW-QS90H offers an all-in-one alternative. Two Wi-Fi speakers designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec round out the lineup: the Music Studio 7 and the Music Studio 5.

Pricing and Philippine availability for the 2026 lineup have not yet been announced.
