MANILA, Philippines (April 2026) — Two strong Philippine teams are ready to represent the country on the regional stage with big money on the line.
The national champions from the Philippines — NU Bulldogs and FAITH Colleges Bravehearts — will compete in the OPPO Hyper Legend Cup x MLBB Campus Series grand finals in Malaysia from April 16 to 19, 2026. The event will be held at 1 Utama Shopping Centre in Selangor.
This year’s tournament boasts a record-breaking USD100,000 prize pool (approx. PHP 6,000,000), nearly double last year’s amount. Over 1,400 teams from Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore registered, making it the largest campus-focused MLBB competition hosted by a brand.
The NU Bulldogs enter as a collegiate dynasty with back-to-back titles, while the FAITH Colleges Bravehearts bring professional-level experience from the MDL Philippines circuit and are known for performing under pressure.
Gary Dong, APAC president of OPPO, described the event as more than just a tournament.
“The OPPO Hyper Legend Cup x MLBB Campus Series is more than a tournament — it is a platform for the next generation of esports players to showcase their passion and skill,” Dong said. “By bringing these four nations together in Malaysia, we are committed to pushing the boundaries of mobile gaming by providing cutting-edge technology that enhances the mobile esports experience.”
The OPPO Reno15 Series served as the official device during the national qualifiers and will continue in the finals. It features a smooth 120FPS display, advanced VC cooling, a 6,500mAh battery, 80W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge, and AI LinkBoost 3.0 for stable connectivity — all designed to keep performance high during intense matches.
Malaysian MLBB legends Soloz and Feekz will make special appearances at the grand finals. The four-day event also includes interactive zones to try the latest OPPO devices, meet-and-greets, and exclusive merchandise giveaways.
