MANILA, Philippines (Jun 2026) — You’re probably already on the Lazada app this week. Now there’s a way to use it for something more than shopping.
Lazada Philippines has activated LazadaForGood, its social impact feature, to help channel donations toward communities hit by the 7.8-magnitude earthquake that struck Mindanao on June 8, 2026. Affected families continue to need food, clean water, shelter, and medical assistance.
How it works
Anyone can contribute through the Lazada app. Open the app, go to the LazadaForGood page, and follow the steps to donate. Contributions go directly to Lazada’s trusted humanitarian partner organizations, which are coordinating relief and recovery work on the ground.
The platform says the donation process is quick and secure.
Why this matters
Natural disasters in Mindanao have historically left remote communities cut off from immediate relief. Platforms like Lazada, which already has deep reach across the Philippines, can help aggregate small individual donations into meaningful aid volumes faster than traditional channels.
Pinoys who want to help but aren’t sure where to start can head to the Lazada app now to find the LazadaForGood page.
