MAKATI, Philippines (July 2026) — Staying close to home just got a lot easier for millions of Pinoys working abroad, and the international community is taking notice. A digital marketplace designed to help overseas workers manage their needs back in the Philippines recently took home top honors at the Asia Pacific Stevie Awards.

The platform, known as TinBo or Tindahan ni Bossing, earned a Gold Stevie Award for its role in helping overseas Pinoys access digital goods and services for their families. From paying bills to sending treats, the one-stop shop is proving that distance does not have to mean a disconnect from daily life.

A digital passport for the global worker
The service is more than just a place to shop. It uses a cloud-based mobile number called a Smart Virtual Number, which acts like a digital passport. This allows users to handle communications and financial services as if they were still in the Philippines. With more than 500,000 users across the Middle East, North America, Europe, and Asia, the service has seen massive growth as more people look for intentional ways to stay involved with their households from afar.

Celebrating community and leadership
The recognition did not stop at the gold trophy. The group also secured multiple Bronze Stevie Awards for initiatives that bring people together. One of these was the Hong Kong Fest 2025, a weeklong celebration of Philippine Independence Day that used culture to build community among Pinoys abroad.

Another bronze went to the ACC 2025 event, which brought together leaders in tech and telecommunications to talk about the future of global connectivity. This focus on partnership is a key part of the strategy to bridge digital divides.

The company president and CEO, Albert V. Villa Real, also received a Bronze Stevie Award for Thought Leadership. His work centers on making sure digital tools are inclusive for all partner communities, regardless of where they are in the world.

Villa Real noted that these wins belong to the teams and partners who work to create a real impact on lives. The goal remains to build a hyperconnected future that opens doors and uplifts the community, ensuring that every Pinoy, no matter how far they travel, stays connected to the heart of home.
