SAN JUAN, Philippines (Jul 2026) — Raising a world-class athlete takes more than just raw talent, which is why a new nationwide movement is stepping up to connect families, alumni, and sponsors behind the next generation of young Pinoy golfers.
The Junior Golf Foundation of the Philippines (JGFP) officially launched The JGFP Community, an initiative designed to transform individual acts of support into a long-term, community-driven movement. The goal is simple: ensure that no young athlete has to navigate their sporting journey alone.
A permanent home for Pinoy golf supporters
For decades, grassroots sports in the country have thrived on the sacrifices of parents, the guidance of coaches, and the generosity of early sponsors. This new platform aims to give that support system a permanent home.
Members who sign up will gain access to exclusive partner privileges, member experiences, community events, and volunteer opportunities. Every interaction aims to strengthen the foundational relationships that keep the sport alive.
“Every young golfer’s journey begins with someone who chooses to believe in them,” said JGFP President Oliver Gan. He emphasized that the organization’s responsibility goes beyond developing great athletes; it focuses on building a network that stands beside them at every step.
Building a sustainable future together
The launch is backed by SIGMA Ventures, an investment group focused on purpose-driven organizations, and was developed in partnership with Minotaur, a strategic marketing and community-building firm.
