MANILA, Philippines (Aug. 2026) — Demigods are in for a stressful ride because the first footage of the upcoming third season of the hit fantasy series shows a much darker quest to find a missing friend.
During the recent Disney Entertainment Showcase at D23, series star Walker Scobell surprised fans by hitting the stage alongside an army of Artemis’s hunters. He was joined by newly announced guest stars Ming-Na Wen and Andra Day, who are stepping into the mythical roles of Hera and Athena, respectively, to debut the official teaser trailer for season three of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians.”
A rescue mission with massive stakes
The upcoming season brings the third book of the bestselling Disney Hyperion series, “The Titan’s Curse” by Rick Riordan, to the screen for the first time. This time around, the tension is significantly higher. Percy is dealing with the sudden and mysterious disappearance of Annabeth, all while the ominous Great Prophecy from the Oracle of Delphi hangs over his head.
According to the prophecy, a demigod child of the “Big Three” gods is destined to either lift Olympus to new heights or bring it crashing down into total ruin. With lives hanging in the balance, the teaser hints at a season that is larger in scale, darker, and much riskier for the young heroes.
Who is returning to camp
The series is created by Rick Riordan and Jonathan E. Steinberg. The third season features the return of core cast members Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, and Aryan Simhadri, alongside Charlie Bushnell, Tamara Smart, and Levi Chrisopulos.
Pinoy fans do not have to wait too long to stream the new adventures. The third season of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” is scheduled to premiere on Nov. 20 on Disney+. If you need to catch up before the big premiere, the first two seasons are already available on the streaming platform.
