Ten original Pinoy songs are officially vying to represent the country on the international stage at the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest Asia.
The roster spans several genres, from empowering dance anthems to heartfelt ballads, and touches on themes of love, resilience, and Filipino identity. Among the contenders is “Round N’ Round” (composed by Nina Girado), a track navigating the unpredictable back-and-forth of falling in love, and “Sobra-Sobra” by Carmelle (composed by Nica del Rosario and Mat Olavides), an empowering dance song reminding Pinays that they are always enough.
