SEOUL, South Korea (Aug 2026) – Smart home setups are getting a major upgrade as the LG 2026 AI TV lineup arrives to solve common living room annoyances, from hunting for movie recommendations to fixing dark picture settings. Powered by the new α11 AI Processor Gen3, these displays bring personalized viewing profiles and multi-layered protection straight to Pinoy homes.
A processor built for picture and sound
At the heart of the LG 2026 AI TV lineup is the α11 AI Processor Gen3, which delivers a 5.6-fold boost in NPU performance along with upgraded CPU and GPU capabilities. First featured on LG OLED evo models, the processor now powers the brand’s ultra-large Micro RGB evo TVs as well. It drives AI Dual 4K Upscaling to sharpen lower-resolution content and uses AI Sound Pro to transform audio into Virtual 11.1.2 channel sound. Tom’s Guide recognized the processor at its AI Awards 2026 for its practical ability to eliminate color banding.
Personalized features for everyday viewing
The LG 2026 AI TV range introduces several smart tools designed for quick customization. Voice ID recognizes individual family members by voice and switches straight to their custom profile for tailored film and show suggestions. If something looks wrong, AI Chatbot lets users state issues in plain language, such as saying “the screen is too dark,” before guiding them through the exact settings fix. Meanwhile, AI Concierge studies viewing habits to surface content cards on webOS 26 at the push of a remote button without interrupting what is on screen.
Built-in cybersecurity and ongoing updates
To keep user information safe, every display includes LG Shield, an integrated security system utilizing seven core protection technologies. Recognized as a CES 2026 Innovation Awards honoree in Cybersecurity, LG Shield defends against data leaks, unauthorized access, and malicious tampering. LG is also bundling up to five years of complimentary webOS upgrades to keep the system current long after purchase.
Visitors can experience the new displays at IFA 2026 in Berlin from September 4 to 8. Official Philippine pricing and local availability dates have not yet been announced.
