MANILA, Philippines (Aug 2026) — A massive fitness party is taking over the SM MOA Complex, blending a traditional road race with a high-energy music festival. Pinoy runners can jog, walk, or dance their way through a unique route on August 22, 2026, where every step moves to the beat.
The Music Run features a five-kilometer and 10-kilometer course lined with speakers pumping out adrenaline-packed tracks. This event officially kicks off the 10th anniversary of Acer Day, an annual regional celebration themed “Shift the Game” that brings together fitness, entertainment, and technology.
More than just a typical run
Participants will experience themed Music Zones along the route before hitting a massive finish-line celebration. The event also marks a huge milestone for the global tech giant as it celebrates 50 years in the industry.
“The Music Run reflects our commitment to creating experiences that bring people together beyond technology,” said Mart Maranon, marketing manager at Acer Philippines. “As we celebrate 50 years of Acer and 10 years of Acer Day, we can’t wait to see our community rally and shift the game with us.”
Keep the party going at the Big Dome
The fun does not stop at the finish line. Race finishers can also secure access to the upcoming Acer Day Concert at the Araneta Coliseum on August 30, 2026. Tickets for General Admission, Upper Box, and Lower Box are bundled directly with the race registration.
