A clash of Pinoy pride on home soil
The B.LEAGUE Manila Games 2026 will feature a landmark two-game preseason series on Sept. 9 and Sept. 10, 2026, starring Levanga Hokkaido and the Gunma Crane Thunders. Local supporters will get a rare front-row seat to watch Gilas Pilipinas stars Dwight Ramos of Levanga Hokkaido and AJ Edu of the Gunma Crane Thunders battle it out on their home court.
Celebrating decades of friendship and sport
Brought to local fans by Toyota Motor Philippines, the showcase coincides with two major milestones: the 10th anniversary of the B.LEAGUE and the 70th anniversary of normalized diplomatic relations between Japan and the Philippines. The event aims to deepen the cultural and athletic ties shared between both nations.
“Basketball has a special way of bringing people together, and we are proud to support an event that allows Pinoy fans to experience B.LEAGUE basketball here in Manila,” said Elijah Marical, First Vice President for Vehicle Sales Operations of Toyota Motor Philippines. He added that the series celebrates the shared passion for the sport, cross-cultural friendship, and memorable family experiences.
