Pinoy teams swept the podium at CODM’s biggest SEA tournament — all three spots

MANILA, Philippines (May 2026) — Eight countries showed up to the Garena Summer Invitational 2026. The Philippines took home all three trophies.

The Call of Duty: Mobile Garena Summer Festival 2026 wrapped last weekend at the SMX Aura Convention Center in Manila, pulling close to 4,000 fans on the ground and nearly 50,000 peak concurrent viewers watching online. It was the biggest CODM weekend the country has seen, and Pinoy teams made sure everyone knew it.

All-Filipino podium at the regional finals

The GSI brought together top squads from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, and the Philippines for a combined prize pool of over $100,000 (approx. PHP 5.8 million). When the dust settled, it wasn’t even close: ELEVATE claimed the championship and its third consecutive GSI crown, Alula SC finished second, and Team Star Magic rounded out the podium in third. Every team on that stage was flying the Philippine flag.

ELEVATE and Alula SC’s top-two finishes also punched their tickets directly to the Group Stage of the CODM World Championship 2026 Garena Qualifiers.

A historic first for local competitive play

Beyond the regional tournament, the weekend also marked a milestone for the domestic scene. GEP 2026 hosted the first-ever official offline LAN Battle Royale tournament for CODM in the Philippines. LEAP UNBOUND won the inaugural LAN BR championship, while SKAERI locked down the Multiplayer title with a display of tactical precision throughout the bracket.

More than just a tournament

The festival wasn’t only about the competition. Fans packed the venue for live performances, creator meet-and-greets, merchandise giveaways, and on-ground activities over two days. Popular CODM personalities Myrtle, Patsy, Sharlene, and Doc Z opened the event performing “In the Zone” during the opening ceremony. Sponsors Shopee and Infinix kept the energy going on the floor, with championship-winning players taking home brand new Infinix NOTE 60 Series phones.

What’s next

Garena isn’t slowing down. Garena Masters 11 returns in July, the Philippines Collegiate Championship tips off in August, and the BR major Garena Survivors arrives in September. A new Community Gladiators series is also rolling out through Q3.

On the in-game side, a Persona 5 Royal collaboration has been teased across official CODM channels, with details dropping in the coming weeks.

Call of Duty: Mobile is available on the App Store and Google Play.
