1. What is your budget?

The first question you must ask yourself is: What is your budget?

108MP quad cameras – SAMSUNG Galaxy A73 5G

The bigger the budget, the better the gadget, and the best of them all is the GALAXY A73 5G with its 108MP main camera with OIS (optical image stabilization) and 32MP selfie camera. It also touts a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ display (yes, that’s a Plus) with a native refresh rate of 120Hz.

It is the only model that supports Wi-Fi 6, and the only one with an under-display fingerprint scanner.

By the way, both the Galaxy A53 5G and the Galaxy A73 feature a punch hole type of notch centered along the top edge of the display.

2. Do you need 5G?

The next question that you must ask yourself is: Do you need 5G for mobile data?

Samsung is bringing three 5G models to the Philippines: Galaxy A73 5G, Galaxy A53 5G, and Galaxy A33 5G.

If that’s not a priority however, SAMSUNG is planning to bring two 4G LTE models into the Philippines at a later date, the Galaxy A13 and Galaxy A23.

3. Are you a gamer?

SAMSUNG Galaxy A23

Among the two 4G phones that we’ve mentioned, the Galaxy A23 is best suited for gaming with its more powerful chipset, running on the Snapdragon 680 platform.

Gamers will also appreciate its 6.6-inch display with its native refresh rate going up to 90Hz.

Of the five models, only the Galaxy A73 5G and Galaxy A13 run on the Snapdragon platform from Qualcomm, while the Galaxy A53 5G, Galaxy A33 5G, and the Galaxy A23 run on Samsung’s in-house Exynos chipset.

4. Are you a content creator?

If you use your phone to create content or simply want to take better photos and videos, the Galaxy A53 5G has the better camera system with its OIS-enabled 64MP main sensor and 32MP selfie camera.

It also features three auxiliary cameras: a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a passive 5MP depth sensor.

The Galaxy A33 5G is no slouch either: its 48MP main sensor also has OIS, and there’s a 13MP camera for selfies. It also has an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 5MP macro sensor, as well as a 2MP depth sensor.

5. Are you a fish?

If you happen to be a fish, or a human being who is around water a lot, you will be happy to learn that all three 5G models come with IP67 water and dust resistance. That’s the Galaxy A73 5G, Galaxy A53 5G, and Galaxy A33 5G.

Also, all three 5G models pack a Super AMOLED display and OIS-enabled cameras, which should come in handy when capturing memories with sharks, mermaids, and other marine life forms.

All of the phones in the Galaxy A Series 2022 lineup run Android 12 out of the box with Samsung’s One UI 4 for that enhanced Android user experience and integration with the Samsung Galaxy ecosystem.
