MANILA, Philippines (April 2026) — Garena Delta Force fans are getting a big content drop next week.
Season Echo, the game’s next major update, launches on April 21 and brings fresh map changes, new gameplay features, and a special collaboration with the iconic Tomb Raider franchise.
The highlight of the season is the reworked Zero Dam map in Operations mode, which now includes new flanking routes, reduced camping spots, swimming mechanics, and environmental cues like birds reacting to hidden players. A new map called Akh Canal also joins Warfare mode as the 12th map, featuring open trenches, indoor areas, a central cargo ship, and a dynamic precision strike that can reshape the battlefield in real time.
Operations mode gets expanded sandbox elements including Parkour Challenges with leaderboards, interactive Treasure Mounds for loot and messages, and updated Collection Rooms with new collectibles.
Warfare mode receives several vehicle and gameplay upgrades such as guided missiles for IFVs, a new Counter-fire Radar for AAVs, thermal imaging on multiple vehicles, improved aim assist, and a third-person driving view. Team Deathmatch now has Overload Points that grant buffs like health regeneration and faster reloads.
A new Recon operator named Luke Everly (code name Morse) joins the roster, bringing detection and disruption tools. Two new weapons — the high-capacity AR57 assault rifle and the powerful M82 sniper rifle — will also be available.
To celebrate the Tomb Raider collab, players can unlock a special Lara Croft-inspired outfit for Luna and take on themed challenges that test survival skills.
Garena also announced regional esports plans for 2026. The Delta Force Invitational: Warfare will be held in China this June, with Southeast Asia and Taiwan teams qualifying through the Pan-Pacific Warfare Cup that ends April 19. A second Invitational is scheduled for November.
