Globe Tattoo has just recently honored and publicly revealed the deserving and exciting winners of this year’s search for
social media greatness recognizing the country’s impeccable movers and shakers held at Shooting Gallery in Makati.
The awards night aptly opened with a cool dance number from @ATeamPH and was hosted by the awesome tandem of Aaron
Atayde and DJ Suzy Gamboa. Globe Senior Advisor for Consumer Business Dan Horan welcomed the media and every guest who took time out to attend and celebrate greatness amplified by all the inspiring Top 10 Winners this year.

Kudos to the very interesting Tatt Council line up which comprised of social entrepreneur and Senator Bam Aquino, Emmy award-winning producer Mike Carandang, filmmaker Quark Henares, TV host Daphne Osena-Paez, sports host Jinno Rufino, environmental advocate Anna Oposa, technopreneur Nix Nolledo, author/TV host Bianca Gonzales-Intal and renowned composer Jim Paredes.
First time Tatt Council Ms.Daphne had this to say, “I had a lot of fun getting to know the work of our country’s top change-makers and most inspiring sites!”
Unlike in previous Tatt Awards, I noticed that this year’s nominations were not divided into specific categories. According to the Tatt Awards mechanics, any person or group may be nominated as long as the nominee has been able to create an impact through quality content that made a mark to the greater majority. A nominee must have also used social media to connect with the rest of the world.
Even if the awarding ceremony was an hour lesser from last year’s 2-hour program held at the SMX of SM Mall of Asia the after event had the guests enjoy more EDM party music courtesy of DJs @pattychooo and @marsmiranda with @bpvalenzuela.
“Not only do we have locally-appreciated social media personalities, content, businesses or artists in the list, but also a true global phenomenon that continue to make their mark all over the world.” concludes Mr. Guinoo.
