John Lloyd Cruz chooses to stay ‘Kapamilya’, renews contract

MANILA, Philippines – Matinee idol John Lloyd Cruz ended the speculations that he will leave his home network as he renewed a three-year contract with ABS-CBN this Thursday (Jan 22).

Aside from his sitcom “Home Sweetie Home,” John Lloyd revealed that his new contract includes both TV and movie projects.

“There are a lot of good projects in store for me and I am very excited,” the actor said. Though he did not fully give out the details on his upcoming projects, John Lloyd disclosed that he will be working once again with Sarah Geronimo and Bea Alonzo on the big screen. He also shared that it would also be nice to work with Toni Gonzaga again in a movie.

Present during the contract signing were ABS-CBN president and CEO Charo Santos-Concio, broadcast head Cory Vidanes, Star Creatives head Malou Santos, Star Magic consultant Johny Manahan, and talent management & development center managing director Mariole Alberto.
