Kang Daniel All Set for Manila Solo Concert

South Korean singer Kang Daniel is so ready for his First Parade concert tour to seven cities around Asia, kicking off in Manila on October 22, 2022.

The show will be held at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao at 8PM. Gates open 5PM.

The tour will also make stops in Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Macau. In addition, the concert tour is expected to expand to the Americas and Europe.

The First Parade tour is an expansion of Daniel’s two-night concert in Seoul in August – his first concert since debuting as a solo artist in 2019.

Previously, Daniel held his first concert in Seoul after three years with domestic and foreign fans flocking to the arena to witness his return to the concert stage.

Dubbed the Nation’s Center, the singer-actor is at the forefront of the Korean entertainment scene, forging a career as a singer-songwriter, actor, and CEO of his own independent company, Konnect Entertainment which aims to manage and produce other talents as well.

In 2022, he made his official debut as an actor with Rookie Cops. His performance in the series earned him the Popularity Award from the Blue Dragon Series Awards and the Outstanding K-Pop Idol from the Seoul International Drama Awards.

This year also saw him release his first studio album, The Story, fronted by “Upside Down”. The album peaked at number three on the weekly Gaon Album Chart and at number nine on the monthly Gaon Album Chart. “Upside Down” also gave him a number two on the weekly Gaon Digital Chart and a music show trophy from Show! Music Core.

Former Wanna One member Daniel made his debut in Osaka and Yokohama, Japan last October 15 and 16 with the extended play, Joy Ride, led by the single “TPIR”. Alongside his music career, he also established himself as a sought-after host, serving as the MC in Mnet’s Street Woman FighterStreet Dance Girls Fighter, and Street Man Fighter.
