Max Roxas and Leni Robredo has added the “Daang Matuwid” slogan into their names, according to data released by the Commission of Elections (COMELEC) on their official website on Friday.
The data, which contains an updated list of candidates for the 2016 National Elections of the Philippines, lists the following names:
President:
BINAY, JOJO (UNA)
DEFENSOR SANTIAGO, MIRIAM (PRP)
DUTERTE, RODY (PDPLBN)
MENDOZA, MEL (PMP)
POE, GRACE (IND)
ROXAS, MAR DAANG MATUWID (LP)
SEÑERES, ROY (WPPPMM)
VALENCIA, DANTE (IND)
Vice-President:
CAYETANO, ALAN PETER (IND)
ESCUDERO, CHIZ (IND)
HONASAN, GRINGO (UNA)
MARCOS, BONGBONG (IND)
ROBREDO, LENI DAANG MATUWID (LP)
TRILLANES, ANTONIO IV (IND)
It can be noted that Grace Poe and Rody Duterte are both on the list of candidates for President. Both Poe and Duterte are currently facing disqualification cases over issues such as residency and human rights violations.
According to the Guidelines for Verification provided by COMELEC, the list is subject to editing, so these names may still change in the actual, final ballot.
