TAGUIG, Philippines – McDonald’s Philippines invites you to join the McDonald’s Stripes Run 2017, to be held on November 25, 2017, at Garden Bloc Cebu IT Park, Cebu City and on December 3, 2017, at McKinley West, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig.
Primarily aimed at families and kids, the annual fun run event starts from 1 kilometer for kids aged 8 years old and below, all the way to 10 kilometers.
Families with 2 adults and u2 kids can participate in the Family Stripes category, which is set for 3 kilometers.
Staying faithful to the theme, the race kit includes a pair of red and white striped socks, a striped singlet, a race bib, and a stub for free McDonald’s breakfast meal at the venue.
Proceeds will be used to help public school children learn to read through the Ronald McDonald House Charity’s (RMHC) Read to Learn program. Partnering with the Department of Education, the initiative aims to raise the literacy level among Grade 1 and Grade 2 public school students.
The registration period is from October 13 to November 23 for Cebu participants and October 13 to December 1 for Manila participants.
