Was there a red carpet prepared for them as they chased their dreams? Their beginnings certainly don’t sound grand. “I had to commute two hours a day to and fro school with a small budget on hand. I had to balance school life, OJT, orgs, social life and be on the Dean’s List to maintain my scholarship. I don’t know how I did it but here I am,” MJ revealed. Before the entertainment beat, MJ did the tougher jobs and never said no to any of them. She even experienced being on the battlefield. Before Valerie graced our TV screens, she endured long queues and attended countless auditions. “The competition was tough as there were hundreds of talented people vying for the same spot,” Valerie recalled. She never gave up and she kept her eyes on the prize. Now, Valerie is a prominent face on TV.
