About 700 individuals will be attending the first-ever Online Filipino Freelancers Conference, this October 13 at the Le Pavillon Metropolitan Park, Pasay City. This conference will highlight the trends, innovative strategies, and opportunities on freelancing through 10 speakers who have made a huge impact in their own professional scene.

Online Filipino Freelancers has been a Facebook Community for freelancers and work from home Filipino professionals for 3 years now. For the first time, they will be launching their very first big event. The participants are a mix of tenured work from home freelancers and those aspiring to be one.

In this conference, Online Filipino Freelancers and The Global Filipino Investors are bringing the most influential names in the freelancing industry, together with prominent coaches and speakers from e-commerce, and advocates of financial literacy.

“The participants can expect valuable information, tips and best practices from our speakers. We are confident that they will go home inspired, motivated and ready to level up their freelancing career,” according to the founder of Online Filipino Freelancers, CJ Maturino-Cajoles.

Founded by a diverse and passionate group of Pinoy investors and entrepreneurs in the different parts of the world, The Global Filipino Investors is in their continuous thrive to break the endless chain of Filipinos mismanaging their wealth due to the misgivings of a lack of a proper financial education program in the country. Today, TGFI has over 200,000 community members (and growing) in more than 12 countries.

According to Filip Lloi Wycoco, Vice-Chairman and Head Ambassador of TGFI, there is indeed a reason why the BPO sector became one of the country’s economic drivers as the Philippines outperformed other countries today, and he believes that the OFF Conference will highlight that and will bring in more exposure on why online freelancing can be a profitable source of income for every Filipino family.

“We believe that the Filipino talent is within the international standards specially if we’re talking about online freelancing,” he added.

Just last month, JJ Atencio, the owner of Januarius Holdings Inc., took over the position of the Chief Executive Officer of TGFI in order to lead the pack to its new direction in the beginning of the year 2019.
