POCO has officially brought its new flagships to the Philippines. The F9 Ultra and F9 Pro launched on September 1, and both lean hard into gaming with 185Hz displays, 200MP cameras, and batteries that will outlast a full day of play.
Two flagships, one gaming-first pitch
The F9 Ultra is the bigger of the pair, built around a 6.9-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel that hits up to 185Hz in supported titles, a 200MP main camera with a 50MP 5x periscope telephoto, and an 8,050mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. The F9 Pro steps down to a 6.59-inch 185Hz AMOLED with a 6,330mAh cell and the same 200MP main shooter paired with a 50MP telephoto.
PH pricing and early bird deals
Both phones ship with an early bird promo that runs from September 1 to 16, and stackable Shopee and Lazada rebates can push prices well below SRP. On the F9 Pro, the 12GB + 256GB model can drop to as low as PHP 29,300 with a Lazada rebate.
| Model | Configuration | SRP | Early bird |
|---|---|---|---|
| POCO F9 Ultra | 12GB + 256GB | PHP 55,999 | PHP 45,999 |
| POCO F9 Ultra | 16GB + 512GB | PHP 59,999 | PHP 48,999 |
| POCO F9 Ultra | 16GB + 1TB | PHP 89,999 | PHP 79,999 |
| POCO F9 Pro | 12GB + 256GB | PHP 49,999 | PHP 33,999 |
| POCO F9 Pro | 12GB + 512GB | PHP 54,999 | PHP 35,999 |
Early bird buyers also get a free Redmi Buds 8 Active, an extended 1+1 year warranty, and up to six months of screen replacement at any Xiaomi Service Center.
Flagship power underneath
The F9 Ultra runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with a dedicated VisionBoost D8 graphics chip, a pairing designed to sustain high frame rates without the phone overheating. Add dual T1+ tuner chipsets for stable mobile gaming, and the result is a device squarely aimed at esports on the go, in a phone market where component prices have been climbing.
The early verdict
POCO’s aggressive early bird pricing continues a streak the brand has leaned on all year, including its POCO Carnival anniversary deals back in August. If the promo stacks the way it did before, the F9 series could be one of the better value gaming flagships of 2026.
