MANILA, Philippines (April 2026) — realme is giving Pinoy fans an early look at its upcoming flagship Number Series before the official launch.
The realme 16 Series 5G brings a fresh mix of premium design and serious photography upgrades, headlined by a 200MP portrait system on the Pro models.
realme worked with renowned Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa to create the Urban Wild Design concept. It blends organic, nature-inspired textures with clean urban aesthetics.
The top model, realme 16 Pro+ 5G, comes in Master Gold that recalls sunlit wheat fields and features a unique bio-based silicone back panel made from plant-derived straw. It feels soft, resists dirt, and adds durability. The realme 16 Pro 5G follows in Pebble Grey inspired by smooth river stones, with an Orchid Purple option also available. Meanwhile, the base realme 16 5G takes a minimalist “Air” look in White and Black, complete with a horizontal camera strip that includes a built-in selfie mirror.
On the camera front, the realme 16 Pro+ 5G leads with a 200MP OIS main sensor, a 50MP 3.5x telephoto lens, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP front camera. It introduces the industry’s first TÜV Rheinland-certified LumaColor Image Camera, which promises better color accuracy, balanced lighting between subject and background, and more natural skin tones.
The realme 16 Pro 5G carries the same 200MP OIS main camera paired with an 8MP ultra-wide. The standard realme 16 5G uses a 50MP Sony IMX852 main sensor and 50MP selfie camera for solid everyday shots.
The entire series puts strong emphasis on portrait photography, aiming to deliver vibrant, lifelike results whether shooting close-ups or group photos.
realme will officially launch the realme 16 Series 5G in the Philippines on April 23 at 5:30 PM through a livestream on its official Facebook channel.
