PHILIPPINES – ASUS ROG Philippines officially announced the arrival of the ROG Phone 2 Strix Edition (8GB/128GB) last February 22. ASUS’ Android gaming smartphone is available at ASUS concept stores complete with the Aero Case and AeroActive Cooler II at a retail price of PHP 34,995.
The Strix Edition bears similar specs as the Tencent Edition of the ROG Phone 2, which launched late last year. It runs on speed-binned Octa-core 2.96GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus (7nm) CPU with Adreno 640 GPU clocked at 675 MHz. The Strix Edition runs on Global version of Android 9 (Pie) with ROG UI.
