Your wrist might know more about your health than you do. Samsung’s new Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Watch9 turn constant wearable data into advice you can actually use — and this year, both got bigger batteries, brighter screens, and sharper AI. Here’s what changed.
A new era of effortless health
Samsung also unveiled the all-new Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9, ushering in what the company calls a new era of effortless health — turning daily wearable data into actionable guidance simply by putting the devices on. Both run on the new Snapdragon Wear Elite Platform and pack Galaxy Watch’s largest battery and brightest display ever.
Galaxy Watch Ultra2: built for the extremes
The 47 mm Galaxy Watch Ultra2 is Samsung’s most powerful watch yet, aimed at outdoor adventurers and high-performance users. Its dedicated Trail Run mode tracks elevation, climbing progress and terrain impact to help pace efforts and cut injury risk, while a new Nutrition Alert estimates sweat loss and guides hydration in real time.
It’s also dive-ready: rated IP69K, 10 ATM and EN13319 certified, with automatic real-time tracking of depth, time and water temperature the moment you enter the water. An exclusive Ultra2 Diving app, developed with Mares, is expected later this year.
Hardware is unapologetically pro — an 800 mAh battery (35% larger than the previous Ultra), the world’s first 5,000-nit smartwatch display, and a shock-resistant titanium case. Despite the bigger battery, it’s 12% thinner than its predecessor with lighter, softer bands for 24/7 wear.
Galaxy Watch9: everyday wellness
The Galaxy Watch9 is the ultimate everyday companion for wellness-minded users. A lightweight aluminum case keeps Galaxy Watch’s cushion silhouette, while a 390 mAh battery and a brilliant 3,000-nit display deliver all-day, around-the-clock tracking.
With interchangeable soft-touch bands and continuous sleep and activity tracking, it turns personal biomarkers into easy-to-act-on insights.
AI-powered health, on the wrist
At the core of both watches is Samsung’s AI health stack. The BioActive sensor captures continuous biometrics, then translates complex data into simple, proactive recommendations — not just what’s happening in your body, but what to do next.
Philippine pricing
The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 (47 mm) is priced at Php 44,990. The Galaxy Watch9 comes in at Php 22,990 (40 mm) and Php 24,990 (44 mm).
