You will really get starstrucked upon meeting the one and only “star for all seasons” the iconic Ms. Vilma Santos! And that’s what happened to the recent bloggers who graced the blog conference held at Star Cinema for the upcoming “Everything About Her”.
I recall from a previous interview our Governor Vilma to her constituents in Lipa, Batangas, or simply Ate Vi mentioned that she would do or at least one movie per year. Thankfully

The Star for all Seasons hopes that the moviegoers would understand the movie’s message after watching the film.

“This one is a very light comedy-drama movie. It is the message of the movie na gusto ko sanang maintindihan ng mga manonood. It’s not just the kilig factor [kasi] this movie is about family,” Ms. Vilma said.

In the film, Vilma (Vivian) is a successful businesswoman who learned that she is suffering from stage 3 cancer. She then hires a private nurse, played by Angel Locsin (Jaica) and asks her to convince her son who is portrayed by Xian Lim (Xian) to join her during the trying times.

“Ito ‘yung mga taong akala mo ang yayabang na parang kaya na nila lahat pero at the end of the day, tao ka pa rin and that’s the message of the movie. Even how powerful you are, mayroon ka paring problema sa pamilya,” she added.

Moreover, Vilma also praised their director Bb. Joyce Bernal during their filming.

She said, “Anything goes kami sa set, masaya lang but pagka-shooting na at kailangan na naming i-shoot ang isang eksena, director siya and napaka-galing niya magmotivate para magampanan naming tatlo ‘yung mga characters namin ng tama.”

Direk Bb. Joyce Bernal in a recent blog conference shared, “Nung nakilala ko siya (Ate Vi) namroblema ako kasi mabait siyang tao eh. Sabi ko pa’no kita gagawing monster? Kasi she’s super concerned to everyone. Kasi ‘di ba ‘yung pagiging masama nasa tao na talaga ‘yun. ‘Pag masama ka, masama ka.”

The film highlights the importance of family during hard times and how these obstacles bring forth understanding and forgiveness.

So save the date and troop to the theaters on January 27 for the nationwide showing of “Everything About Her” under Star Cinema.
