PHILIPPINES – On April 19, 2023, Xbox celebrated the one-year anniversary of its PC Game Pass service in Southeast Asia (SEA). The service has been a huge success, with over 1 million subscribers in the region.

In the past year, PC Game Pass has added over 100 new games to its library, including some of the biggest titles of the year, such as Elden Ring, Forza Horizon 5, and Halo Infinite. The service has also expanded its availability to include more countries in SEA, such as the Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

To celebrate the one-year anniversary, Xbox is offering a number of promotions, including a free 14-day trial of PC Game Pass for new subscribers. Xbox is also launching new Xbox Wireless Controllers in SEA, which will give players more ways to play their favorite PC games.

“We’ve come a long way since we launched PC Game Pass in SEA a year ago,” said Jeremy Hinton, Asia Business Director, Xbox. “We’re excited to see the continued growth of the gaming community in the region, and we’re committed to providing gamers with the best possible gaming experience.”

Xbox is also committed to supporting local SEA developers. Through its ID@Xbox program, Xbox is providing funding and resources to help local developers create and publish their games. Xbox is also working with local publishers to bring their games to the PC Game Pass service.

“We believe that gaming is a powerful force for good, and we’re committed to using our platform to empower local developers and bring their games to a global audience,” said Hinton. “We’re excited to see what the future holds for gaming in SEA.”
