At MWC Shanghai 2026, the company unveiled a full-stack AI ecosystem built for more efficient, scalable, and sustainable token operations — from TCO-optimal AI factories to the newly launched NewStart AIOS and AI-native networks built for the 6G era.

As AI agents spread, industry focus is shifting from raw computing power to token efficiency. ZTE showcased solutions that enhance token efficiency and minimize cost-per-token through the deep synergy of SuperPod, extremely cost-efficient inference, and AIDC with ultimate energy efficiency.
SuperPod leverages multi-chip open collaboration design and the Orthogonal Electrical eXchange architecture, enabling plug-and-play deployment and rapid provisioning. A single rack supports 128 GPUs with scalability up to 16,000 GPUs, laying the foundation for high-efficiency computing in model training and inference.
AIOS and the operating system for the AI era
ZTE also launched NewStart AIOS, positioning it as the technological foundation of the AI era. The platform spans computing, networks, terminals, and intelligent applications, forging a complete value chain for token production, services, and circulation.
