Zyxel Networks boosts the impact of 26 charities with donated networking products

HSINCHU, Taiwan — In a significant gesture of corporate social responsibility, Zyxel Networks, renowned for their secure, AI-powered cloud networking solutions, has once again partnered with the Zyxel Foundation. This year, they generously donated 350 networking products to 26 charities across Taiwan, marking the second consecutive year of this philanthropic endeavor.

This initiative is designed to bolster the operational capacities of these charities by providing them with advanced technological tools. The Garden of Hope Foundation, Eden Social Welfare Foundation, Genesis Social Welfare Foundation, and Huashan Social Welfare Foundation are among the notable beneficiaries. Each charity received products tailored to their specific needs, enhancing their ability to serve the community effectively.

Arian Zheng, IT Supervisor at the Garden of Hope Foundation, lauded the impact of these donations. The foundation, dedicated to combating gender-based violence, will utilize the USG FLEX H series security firewall and Nebula cloud networking solution to secure remote connections and manage network devices across multiple locations, enhancing data protection and work efficiency.

Similarly, the Eden Social Welfare Foundation, serving diverse groups including children and the elderly, acknowledged the significant upgrade in their network infrastructure with Zyxel’s commercial switches. This improvement not only enhances work efficiency but also aids in reducing IT costs, allowing the foundation to allocate more resources to those in need.

The Genesis Social Welfare Foundation, providing care for patients in a persistent vegetative state, expressed that the donations will simplify and secure network usage for their staff, thereby enabling better focus on patient care.

For the Huashan Social Welfare Foundation, which assists older people with disabilities, the enhanced network security from Zyxel’s products is a crucial aid in safeguarding data against cybersecurity threats.

Crowley Wu, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Zyxel Networks, emphasized the program’s role in addressing the crucial need for better network connectivity and security among charities. This year’s donation, with its range of network devices, aims to improve network speeds and establish a more secure online environment for these financially constrained organizations.

Over the past two years, the program has benefitted 63 charities with a total of 800 devices donated, demonstrating Zyxel Networks’ commitment to leveraging technology for community support and betterment.
