Vivo V70’s AI Stage Mode elevates concert photography at Lubao festival, pre-orders now open

MANILA, Philippines — Capturing the dynamic energy of live concerts, from flashing stage lights to artists commanding the spotlight, can be challenging from a crowd. However, the new vivo V70 smartphone aims to make these moments clearer and closer with its powerful AI Stage Mode and 50MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera.

The V70 demonstrated its capabilities at the Lubao International Balloon and Music Festival 2026 in Pampanga, where CLTV36 of RBC Media Group utilized the device to photograph performances by prominent Filipino OPM acts such as Parokya ni Edgar, Bamboo, Rico Blanco, and Kamikazee. Even from a distance within the crowd, the V70 consistently produced clear and vibrant images, effectively bringing performers closer to the lens.

From Crowd View to Center Stage
Concert photography often involves difficult conditions, including distant performers, constantly shifting lighting, and rapid movements that can blur crucial moments. The vivo V70’s AI Stage Mode directly addresses these challenges by enhancing clarity, exposure, and detail specifically when shooting performers from afar.

For instance, CLTV36 captured Jay Contreras, lead vocalist of Kamikazee. An initial photo at 23mm (1x) showcased the scale of the stage and the vast audience. A quick zoom to 243mm (10x) transformed the scene into a crisp close-up, revealing Contreras’ facial expression and stage presence with a clarity akin to a front-row shot.

Similarly, the V70 successfully documented memorable moments from Parokya ni Edgar’s performance. Wide shots highlighted the band under bright stage lights, with the crowd singing along to their hits. Utilizing the same 10x zoom, the camera delivered detailed close-ups of frontman Chito Miranda, capturing intricate facial expressions and stage nuances despite the challenging concert lighting.

The 50MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera is integral to the vivo V70’s ability to maintain strong detail even at higher zoom levels. When combined with AI Stage Mode, the smartphone intelligently optimizes lighting, sharpness, and color balance to overcome issues caused by bright stage lights and darker surroundings. This integrated technology allows concertgoers to capture both sweeping stage views and detailed close-ups without compromising clarity, preserving the excitement and atmosphere of live performances.
