MANILA, Philippines (Mar 2026) — Your journey to becoming a Pokémon Master just moved from the tall grass to your bedroom. Garmin has officially launched a collaboration with Pokémon Sleep, bringing two new interactive watch faces to its smartwatches that turn your daily energy levels and nightly rest into a game.
The launch, timed to celebrate World Sleep Day, introduces the “Pokémon Sleep: Snorlax & Friends” and “Pokémon Sleep: I Choose You” watch faces, both available for free on the Garmin Connect IQ Store.
Watch your Pokémon grow tired with you
What makes these watch faces unique is their integration with Garmin’s “Body Battery” feature. As you go about your day, the Pokémon on your wrist—whether it’s the iconic Snorlax or one of 48 other selectable companions—will change their expressions and poses in real-time.
When your Body Battery is high, your Pokémon will appear happy and energetic. As your energy drains toward the evening, they will visibly become tired and sleepy, mirroring your own need for rest.
Personalize your sleep journey
Users can choose between two main designs:
- Snorlax & Friends: Features fan-favorites Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, and Snorlax on Greengrass Isle.
- I Choose You: A customizable face where users can pick one of 48 different Pokémon to be their primary companion.
To help you wind down, the watch faces also feature an automatic “Night Mode.” This kicks in 90 minutes before your scheduled bedtime (based on your settings in the Garmin Connect app), shifting the display to a darker, sleep-friendly interface.
Sync your sleep data
Beyond the aesthetics, the collaboration includes a functional update. Select Garmin devices—including models from the fēnix, Forerunner, Venu, and vívoactive series—are now compatible with the Pokémon Sleep mobile app. This allows users to sync their high-quality sleep data directly from their watch to the game, helping them discover new “Sleep Styles” for their Pokémon collection without needing to keep a smartphone on their pillow.
As a special bonus for the launch, trainers who track their sleep using a Garmin device between March 13 and November 1, 2026, will receive three free “Poké Biscuits” in the Pokémon Sleep app to help befriend more monsters.
