SEOUL, South Korea (Mar 2026) — That big screen in your living room might soon feel less like a TV and more like a curated art gallery, thanks to a new partnership bringing exclusive digital artworks straight to your home.
LG has teamed up with digital art platform Sedition to expand its Gallery+ service, adding more than 300 contemporary digital artworks to its growing library. The move gives Smart TV users access to a wider range of visual and video art designed specifically for display screens.
Turning your TV into a digital canvas
Instead of leaving screens blank when not in use, Gallery+ lets users display curated artwork that matches their mood or personal style. The addition of Sedition’s catalog pushes that idea further, introducing works from internationally recognized contemporary artists.
Sedition has spent over a decade working with artists and cultural institutions to create digital-first pieces, including photography, motion art, and tech-driven visuals. These works are optimized for high-resolution displays, making them ideal for modern TVs.
Exclusive pieces you won’t find elsewhere
Among the highlights is a set of Gallery+ exclusive works from six artists exploring different styles and technologies.
Digital artist SARES presents “Vertigo,” a series that blends generative AI, biometric data, and mathematical patterns to visualize moments of intense transformation.
CGI and AI artist Diego Castro, also known as M.O.N.O.M.O, contributes “Synthesized Nature,” a collection of digital sculptures that blur the line between organic life and technology.
The lineup also includes works from British contemporary artist Mat Collishaw, Turner Prize winner Mark Titchner, StudioScheele’s dance-inspired “Figures of Light,” and surreal digital pieces from Lindsay Kokoska.
More than just static art
Gallery+ is powered by LG’s webOS platform and now offers access to over 5,000 pieces of content, ranging from fine art to cinematic visuals and even game-inspired scenes.
Users can also enhance the experience with background music, either from curated selections or their own playlists via Bluetooth, creating a more immersive atmosphere at home.
A growing trend in home entertainment
The collaboration reflects a broader shift in how people use their TVs, moving beyond traditional viewing into personalization and lifestyle expression.
According to Sedition CEO Dyl Blaquiere, the partnership gives artists a new way to reach audiences while offering users a fresh way to engage with contemporary art. LG executive Chris Jo added that the goal is to transform TVs into “living canvases” that combine technology and self-expression.
Gallery+ continues to expand globally, though LG has yet to announce specific pricing or availability details for the Philippine market.
