MANILA, Philippines (July 2026) — The self-titled debut P-pop album from rising group DNA has officially landed, offering a raw and relatable look into the emotional rollercoaster of growing up.

The trio, composed of sisters Julia, Tasha, and Ezri Mitra, brings self-expression and resilience to the local music scene under ABS-CBN’s StarPop label. The eight-track collection explores various personal experiences, ranging from self-confidence and friendship to love, anxiety, and personal growth.

According to the group, the record represents a period of exploration and experimentation as they search for their signature sound, making it a highly relatable release for anyone still trying to figure themselves out. Every member contributed to the conceptualization and songwriting process for the tracks.

A deep dive into internal struggles

Serving as the focus track of the collection, “Spider,” tackles the quiet internal battles that many individuals experience. The track touches on overwhelming thoughts and the search for light during dark moments. ABS-CBN Music creatives, content, and operations head Jonathan Manalo produced and co-wrote the song alongside Robert Pereña.

The tracklist also includes “DNA,” “Don’t Ask Me Why,” “Speeding Ticket,” “Lessons,” “BINGO,” “Glow Up Diary,” and “Gala To The Max.” Notably, legendary singer Regine Velasquez-Alcasid lent her expertise to produce “Glow Up Diary.”

Building on early musical success

The sibling trio first entered the music scene late last year with their empowering anthem, “Don’t Ask Me Why,” which accumulated more than 100,000 streams on Spotify and was featured in the original series, “Miss Behave.” They later released the upbeat single, “BINGO,” and performed the official summer anthem for SM Supermalls, “Gala To The Max.”

The self-titled debut album is now available for streaming on all major digital music platforms. Fans can follow the group and StarPop on Facebook, X, Instagram, and TikTok for future updates.
