MANILA, Philippines (Aug. 2026) – As Pinoy developers and global enterprises race to build smarter digital tools, having powerful cloud computing to back them up has never been more vital. Alibaba Cloud has officially secured a Leader position in the first-ever Gartner Magic Quadrant for Cloud AI Infrastructure report, cementing its place at the forefront of global artificial intelligence technology.
Powering the next era of smart apps
The evaluation by research firm Gartner focused on hyperscale vendors and cloud specialists offering infrastructure built specifically for AI workloads, including model training, inference, and servicing. The recognition highlights the full-stack AI capabilities of Alibaba Cloud, spanning high-performance infrastructure, foundation models, and development platforms.
To help companies scale generative AI and agentic capabilities, Alibaba Cloud offers Model Studio, an enterprise-grade development platform. Through this hub, tech teams can access the full suite of Qwen foundation models to select the approach that fits their specific performance, cost, and deployment needs.
Building for long-term tech innovation
During the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in July 2026, Alibaba Cloud introduced a suite of agent-native technologies designed to accelerate how businesses create and deploy AI agents across various sectors.
“As AI transforms how businesses operate, companies need reliable infrastructure to scale,” said Dr. Feifei Li, chief technology officer and president of international business at Alibaba Cloud Intelligence. She added that the provider remains committed to a full-stack AI cloud ecosystem to help global customers put AI to work.
In a separate report, the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Observability Platforms, Alibaba Cloud was also named a Challenger for its application health and performance monitoring tools.
