MANILA, Philippines (Aug. 2026) – Pinoy webnovel fans are in for a massive celebration as global storytelling platform Wattpad returns to the Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) at the SMX Convention Center from Sept. 9 to 13, 2026. Marking two decades of digital storytelling, the five-day event brings together top local authors whose online hits have gathered millions of reads and spawned major film and television adaptations.
The Philippines remains one of the largest markets for the platform worldwide. To mark the 20th anniversary milestone, visitors can head to the interactive Wattpad Booth to take on the Reader Passport challenge and collect exclusive anniversary merchandise.

Fans can look forward to in-booth book signings and meet-and-greets throughout the book fair. The lineup features Knightinblack, creator of Hell University with over 183 million reads; beeyotch, author of Seducing Drake Palma with over 85 million reads; and CeCeLib, writer of the popular Possessive series with over 80 million reads.

On Sept. 11, the main stage will host a panel discussion titled “Just One More Chapter.” The session features popular writers opening up about their creative processes, inspirations, and storytelling journeys.
