Nintendo has yet to fully show its The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake for the Switch 2, and a French retailer may have just given away one of the launch lineup’s biggest surprises: a Collector’s Edition and an entire family of themed hardware.
A French retailer leaked four Zelda SKUs
Days before the anniversary showcase, French retailer Cdiscount accidentally posted several product listings tied to the Ocarina of Time remake. The SKUs sketch out a full themed product family for Nintendo’s new console.

Of the four, only the Collector’s Edition had not surfaced in earlier leaks. What it contains is still a blank: the listing exposes only the product’s name, with no word on physical bonuses, artwork, or extras.
Why the timing points to the Sept 8 Direct
Nintendo confirmed a dedicated Zelda 40th anniversary Direct for Sept 8, running at 10 p.m. Manila time, with a general Direct the day after. An anniversary broadcast paired with a Collector’s Edition and themed hardware is the classic shape of a flagship reveal, which is why fans expect the Ocarina of Time remake to take center stage there.
The remake, so far
Nintendo officially announced the Ocarina of Time remake at its June 9 Direct, confirming a Switch 2 exclusive arriving sometime in 2026. That debut trailer offered a refreshed look at Link and a new art style, though Nintendo kept most of the game under wraps. Reporting since has pointed to a late-2026 window that some expect to sit close to the arrival of GTA 6.
