“My Puhunan” recently celebrated its first anniversary by sharing inspiring success stories and imparting knowledge and skills to aspiring entrepreneurs via a “kabuhayan caravan.”
More than 250 participants joined the caravan, a one-day event with livelihood seminars and fun-filled activities led by anchor Karen Davila. The event was even made more special because three of its speakers were Joel and Jean Divinagracia and Annaliza Dizon, who were mentored by successful businessmen and were given small capital to jumpstart their businesses through “My Puhunan.”
Married couple Joel and Jean learned how to make papaya soap bars from GT Cosmetics owner Nora Salvane, while single mother and polio victim Annaliza received a high-powered sewing machine from Perry’s Group of Companies’ Arthur Tugade. What’s their advice to people who want to start a business?
Catch their success stories and the scenes at the kabuhayan caravan this Wednesday (August 13) in “My Puhunan.”
“Mutya ng Masa,” meanwhile, also organized an “Araw ng Mga Mutya” event in celebration of its first anniversary. Kapamilya stars Erich Gonzales and Enchong Dee joined the festivities and entertained the participants, mostly women, including a hardworking mom who was rewarded with a tricycle.
