Luca Simonelli is stepping back into a familiar environment as the new senior vice president for Asia Pacific. With over 30 years of international experience in tech leadership, he is tasked with overseeing operations across Japan, North Asia, and South Asia. This includes managing the company’s business in Southeast Asia, India, Australia, and New Zealand. Simonelli previously spent nearly eight years with the organization leading its EMEA business before a stint at GCX Managed Services.

Joe Sarno, the executive vice president of international sales at Fortinet, noted that the region is currently one of the most active markets for cybersecurity. This comes as organizations modernize their infrastructure to integrate AI.
