ABS-CBN stars and DZMM anchors will lead hundreds of runners to help students who were affected by super typhoon Yolanda through DZMM’s “Tulong Na, Tabang Na, Tayo Na, Takbo Na” color fun run that will be held on Sunday (May 4) at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.

Matteo Guidicelli, JC de Vera, Diana Zubiri, TJ Manotoc, “It’s Showtime” host Eric “Eruption” Tai, and “The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition Doubles” fitness coaches Jim and Toni Saret are among the TV personalities who will show their support for DZMM’s scholars.

Also joining them are DZMM anchors Julius Babao, Atom Araullo, Gerry Baja, Marisciel Yao, Ariel Ureta, Ahwel Paz, Cory Quirino, Jobert Sucaldito, Carl Balita, DZMM Traffic Angels, and some DJs from M.O.R. 101.9.

The 5km color fun run aims to raise funds for the scholarship of selected incoming grade one students from Yolanda-hit areas in the Visayas and other DZMM scholars.

Interested participants eight years old and up may join for a registration fee of P630, which comes with a race packet with a race bib, a singlet, and a finisher’s kit with a bullcap, towelette, and drinks.

Aside from helping Yolanda-affected students, participants will also surely have fun as the run will have four color stations where they get sprinkled with colored powder.

To register, just go to the ABS-CBN Tulong Center along Lopez Drive in Quezon City, Toby’s SM North Edsa The Block, Toby’s SM Mall of Asia, and R.O.X. Bonifacio High Street. The registration form may also be downloaded on dzmm.abs-cbnnews.com/takbo. Registration is until Friday (May 2).

This is the fourth time DZMM is organizing a run to advocate education, following “Takbo Para sa Karunungan” that was held from 2011 to 2013 and benefited scholars from Ondoy, Sendong, and Habagat-affected areas.
