Haywyre—Martin Vogt in real life—has piano improvisation as his primary tool for creativity. Tagged as “electronic music’s newest Boy Wonder”, his classical piano training paved the way for him to explore other musical genres and learn how to tweak them. Much like EDM superstar Zedd, keying tunes on the piano is the core of his musical identity and work, he has honed his craft and mixed it with progressive, unique compositions.
Being relatively new in the industry, who would’ve thought that electronic beats and classical and jazz music go together? Haywyre seamlessly weaves both genres to create variety, originality, and fresh tunes that tell different stories. At a young age, he took the chance of releasing an LP named “Two Fold Pt. 1”, which gained popularity and attention from top DJs and producers, including Zedd. More than just being a DJ, his expansive musicality has led him to produce tracks that will take you to ethereal heights. Proof of this remarkable talent are his stints at TomorrowWorld and Summer Set Festival 2015, and performing with notable DJs such as Mat Zo and Gramatik.
